The work that comes up in Robina

Robina is mostly planned estates from the late eighties onwards, plus a large commercial and medical precinct around the town centre and hospital. The housing stock is now hitting the age where original kitchens, bathrooms, flooring and decks are being replaced, which is where most of our Robina work comes from.

  • Renovation carpentry in twenty to thirty year old homes: opening up living areas, replacing internal doors, new trims and built-in storage.
  • Flooring preparation and installation across large open plan areas.
  • Deck and pergola work on the sloped rear blocks common through Robina and Clear Island Waters.
  • Fit-out and repair carpentry in the medical and professional suites around the town centre.

Travel and your patch

Robina based work usually runs between Varsity Lakes, Mermaid Waters, Burleigh and Mudgeeraba. It is an easy patch to service if you live anywhere between Nerang and Burleigh.

What we look for from people in Robina

Carpenters who are comfortable working in occupied family homes, keeping the site tidy each afternoon and explaining to an owner what is happening tomorrow.

Common questions

Do you have carpentry work in Robina right now?

We do not advertise vacancies we do not have. Orange Projects keeps an ongoing register of carpenters by area, and Robina is a suburb we work in regularly. Registering puts you on the list we call from when work is confirmed.

Do I have to live in Robina?

No. We dispatch by area rather than by address, so what matters is the patch you are happy to cover. Tell us your suburbs when you register and we will keep you close to home where we can.

Employment or subcontract?

Both are available. Employees and casuals work to hours and a run sheet we set. Subcontractors need an ABN and current public liability insurance, and work to an agreed scope or rate.

What do I need before I can start?

A white card, reliable transport and your own tools as a minimum, plus any licence required for the work you carry out in your own right. Subcontractors also need an ABN and insurance certificates on file.
