Do you have jobs available right now?
We do not advertise vacancies we do not have. Orange Projects keeps an ongoing register of carpenters, maintenance workers, handymen and subcontractors, and we contact people from that register whenever work is confirmed. Registering costs you nothing and puts you in front of us before the work is advertised anywhere.
Do you take on employees or subcontractors?
Both. Some people want steady hours as an employee or casual, others run their own ABN and prefer to subcontract. Tell us which suits you when you register and we will keep you on the right list.
What do I need to work with Orange Projects?
As a minimum, a white card, reliable transport and your own hand tools. Subcontractors also need an ABN and current public liability insurance, plus any licence required for the work they carry out in their own right.
Do I need a QBCC licence?
Not always. Some work is carried out under our licence as part of our team, and some subcontract work requires a licence in its own right. Tell us what you hold when you register and we will match you to the right work.
Where do you need people?
Across the Gold Coast, from Coolangatta through to Pimpama, with regular work in Brisbane and Logan. We try to keep people working close to home, so tell us the suburbs you can cover.
What happens after I register?
Your registration goes straight to our team. We review every one. If your experience matches work we have coming up you will usually hear from us by phone or text. If not, we keep your details on file rather than deleting them.
