Decking and outdoor living

Decking is one of the most requested jobs we get on the Gold Coast, and the most commonly done badly. We build in both hardwood timber and composite, and we'll tell you honestly which suits your site - composite for full-sun poolside and low-maintenance canal-front decks, timber where you want the look and are happy to oil it. Substructure, bearer spacing, ventilation under the deck and corrosion-rated fixings are where a deck's lifespan is actually decided, and that's the part we don't cut. Carpentry and joinery

Structural and finish carpentry: timber framing, door installation and hanging, skirting and architraves, timber cladding, feature and media walls, built-in storage and general repairs. This is the trade the business is built on, so it's done by carpenters rather than subcontracted out to whoever's available.

Hybrid, SPC and timber flooring

Hybrid and SPC flooring has become the default in Gold Coast homes for good reason - it handles humidity and wet feet from the pool far better than laminate, and it's more forgiving over slab-on-ground than solid timber. We do the subfloor preparation properly (moisture testing, levelling), because almost every flooring failure we get called out to fix is a subfloor problem, not a product problem.

Insurance and storm damage repairs

Storm season on the Gold Coast reliably produces water ingress, damaged decks, roof-related internal damage and blown-out fencing and cladding. We do licensed reinstatement work and can deal directly with your insurer's scope where required, including quoting to their format.

   Call or send through your job

   We come out, measure, look at access, existing structure and services, and talk through options. This is where most of the cost surprises get found - before you commit, not halfway through.

   Fixed-price quote

   You get a written, itemised, fixed-price quote after the inspection. Inclusions and exclusions are spelled out so you can compare it properly against anyone else's.

4. 04

   Build

   One point of contact for the whole job, trades coordinated by us, site left tidy at the end of each day, and progress updates as the work moves along.

5. 05

   Handover

   We walk the finished work with you, sort any defects, and hand over any warranty and compliance paperwork for the work completed.
