Our maintenance division works for real estate agencies, landlords, body corporate managers and commercial clients. The work is steady and repeatable, and it depends almost entirely on trust: our clients are handing over access to properties they are responsible for.

What we look for in a maintenance worker
- A broad practical skill base. Most jobs are not a single trade task.
- Reliability. Property managers book time windows with tenants and those windows matter.
- Good written communication: clear notes and photos before and after.
- The confidence to make a sensible call on site rather than booking a second visit.
- Own vehicle, own tools, white card and a clean presentation.
- The judgement to know when a job needs a licensed trade instead.
Employment, casual or subcontract
We take on maintenance people both ways. Employees and casuals work to a run sheet we set. Subcontractors quote or work to agreed rates and invoice us, and need an ABN and public liability insurance. Our property maintenance subcontractor page explains what we need on file.

Is there a maintenance position currently vacant?
We do not claim a vacancy unless there is one. What we always have is a register of maintenance people we call as work comes in, and our maintenance workload is ongoing rather than seasonal.
Do I need to be a qualified tradesperson?
Not for all maintenance work. A broad practical skill base and good judgement matter most. Licensed work is passed to the appropriate licensed trade.
Will I be working alone?
Usually yes. Maintenance runs are typically single operator, which is why reliability and communication are so important to us.
