Choosing your roof - the decision that matters most

Open battens give filtered light and a soft look but almost no heat or rain protection. Polycarbonate keeps the rain off and the light in, but radiates heat. Insulated sandwich panels are the most requested option on the Gold Coast because they cut radiant heat dramatically and give a clean flat ceiling you can mount fans and lights into.
